Prime-Line U 9511 Brass Door Reinforcement Plate for 1-3/8 in. Thick Doors (Single Pack)

The Defender Security U 9540 Solid Brass Lock and Door Reinforcer is designed to prevent forced entry by reinforcing the weak spot of your door. It can be used to reinforce and repair metal, fiberglass, and wood doors. Constructed of solid brass, the lock reinforcer plate comes in a brass finish. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation.

The reinforcer is designed for a snug fit on 1-3/8 inch thick doors. Measuring 3-7/8 inch wide by 9 inch tall, the reinforcement plate accommodates key-in knob locksets on doors that have 2-1/8 inch bore sizes, with a backset of 2-3/8 inch from the edge of the door. The door reinforcer is recessed for latch installation when the door latch area is damaged. Install the door reinforcer and then insert the latch through the recessed area for proper mounting.

The latch guard, constructed from steel and finished in gray, is designed to protect your door from forced entry. This style latch guard is used on inswinging doors.

EASY INSTALLATION: All the necessary mounting hardware is included with the lock reinforcement plate for a quick and easy installation; the door reinforcer plate is pre-punched for mounting. Remove the protective film after installation.

DIMENSIONS: The door lock reinforcement plate is designed for 1-3/8 inch thick doors only that have a 2-1/8 inch bore hole through the door, with a 2-3/8 inch backset from the edge of the door to the center of the bore holes.

NOTE: Make sure to dry fit the 3-7/8 inch wide by 9 inch tall with a 0.03 inch thickness door lock reinforcer before permanently installing and refer to the line art drawing and compare with your needs before purchasing.
